“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change”

- Carl Rogers

I wonder what you think and feel when you read this quote. Very often we feel that to accept ourselves, we must change and more often than not change can feel daunting even when it is sought. Imagine being able to accept yourself, right now in this moment, exactly as you are. What does this feel like?

As a person-centered therapist, I believe that it is through the therapeutic relationship that we begin to experience the conditions necessary for self- acceptance. My commitment to you is to meet you where you are at, with empathy and without judgement. My belief in you is that deep down, you know the answers to your own questions, and the paths towards your own growth. I will navigate these paths with you, offer reflection, perspective and support along the way and always hold you in the highest of positive regard.
